Matthew Rogers - Senior Minister

Matthew began his ministry at CCCH in 1997.   His primary responsibilities include preaching, leadership, and vision casting.  He has a passion for teaching about a relationship with Jesus Christ in a way that is understandable and applicable to life in today's world.  He fuels his energies into a life mission that will "help lost people get found, help hurting people find grace, and mobilize others to do the same."  During Matthew's time at CCCH the church has grown from 250 to over 650 in weekly attendance, and has completed two expansion projects including a new worship center.  Prior to serving here he led a thriving youth ministry for 9 years at Deer Creek Christian Church in south suburban University Park, IL.  He currently serves as a board member for CareNet Pregnancy Services of Dupage, and is an active member of the Clarendon Hills Chamber of Commerce.  He is an avid Chicago White Sox fan, enjoys classic literature, modern rock music, movies, and any excuse to be outdoors.  Matthew holds degrees from Lincoln Christian University and the Graduate School of Wheaton College. He and his wife Kim are the parents of two daughters.

Robert Locklear - Minister of Worship and Music

Robert holds a B.A. from Great Lakes Christian College, and recently completed his Master of Arts from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, IL. Robert came to serve with us in 2001. In his full-time position he plans our worship services and develops teams of vocalists, instrumentalists, technicians, artists and dramatists. He and his wife Jennifer live in Woodridge.

Scott Nelson - Minister of Discipleship and Involvement

Scott's role is to ensure that no one at CCCH stands alone. After completing an internship with us in 2005, Scott joined the staff full-time in January of 2006. His area of leadership provides opportunities for every person to find a place to belong in a small group and on a volunteer service team. He also assists in helping people discover their spiritual giftedness and discover how to grow deeper in their Christian walk. He has a B.A. from Lincoln Christian University and is currently enrolled at Lancaster Bible College Graduate School pursuing a M.A. in Ministry; Small Group Leadership. Scott was married in August 2008 to Andrea and they live in Downers Grove.

Missy Buche - Children's Minister

Missy oversees all activities for children Kindergarten-Grade 5 as well as the nursery.  She is a graduate of Lincoln Christian University with a B.A. in Christian Education and Missions.  She is also completing graduate level work toward an M.A. in Counseling through Lincoln Christian University.  Missy began full-time service here in 2003.  She lives in Woodridge.

Rich Abraham - Student Minister

Rich gives oversight to our Jr. High and High School Ministries. Originally hired as an "interim" student minister, he joined our staff full-time in June of 2008. Rich is a 2004 graduate of Cedarville University and lives with his wife, Jen, in Aurora. Rich previously worked at Downers Grove Christian School as a Physical Education teacher and basketball coach.

Marilyn Bourn - Family Ministries Director

Marilyn is a graduate of Illinois State University and has been a part of the church for over 35 years. Her role is to provide help to hurting families and assistance for all families who seek to grow stronger. She also directs our before and after school Christian Children's Center that serves over 80 families in the community.
