What to Expect When You Visit

Service Times

We offer two identical Sunday morning services at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.*

*We offer sign language interpreting for the deaf and hard of hearing at this service.

Directions

CCCH is located at 5750 Holmes Ave in Clarendon Hills, IL, one block south of the Jewel/Osco on 55th Street. You can find us on the west side of the street. (Click here for a map to our campus)

Parking

CCCH offers ample parking at both service times. We have specified visitor parking spots as well as parking for parents with small children. For your first visit, we suggest you park in our north parking lot, right next to the church building, as this location is closest to our Welcome Center.

Welcome Center

When you first visit CCCH, be sure to stop by our Welcome Center, located on the north side of the building, directly across the hall from our Worship Center. Our friendly volunteers can answer any questions you may have, give you helpful informational pieces about who we are and what we offer, and direct you to classrooms or children's programs. We also have a free gift for you!

Worship Services

Worship at the Christian Church of Clarendon Hills is a dynamic yet meaningful experience in a welcoming, joyous atmosphere. Our services offer inspiring music and relevant, biblical teaching. We celebrate communion (or the Eucharist) every week, and all Christ-followers are welcome to participate. Services last an average of 75 minutes. At the end of each service we offer an opportunity for someone to pray with you in a confidential, one-on-one setting.

What to Wear

We know that the question "what do I wear" often comes up when visiting a church. At CCCH we invite you to wear whatever is comfortable for you. Some people wear suits, some polos and kahkis, and others jeans and a t-shirt. Some women wear dresses or skirts and others pants or jeans. Worship at CCCH is very relaxed and allows for you to be you when you join with us!

Adult Classes

One of our vehicles for helping you learn about the Christian life and the Bible are our Adult Classes on Sunday mornings. We have a variety of environments to fit every learner! These classes meet during both worship service times. Click here for a list of these classes and our other mid-week connection opportunities.

Children and Students

Because we value the safety and security of your child, children are given an identification number when you check them into one of our children's programs. This number is used when picking your child up at the end of the service and also allows volunteers to find you if they need to communicate with you during a worship service. All of our staff have undergone background checks and strive to provide a safe, loving environment for your child. Should you have any questions, or need help finding a classroom, please stop by the Welcome Center outside the Worship Center and someone will be happy to help.

Nursery

  • We offer childcare for newborns through 2 year-olds in our nursery, located just east of the Chapel (on the south side of the building). In addition, there is a private nursing room provided for your convenience.

      Preschoolers

  • Preschoolers (2-year-olds through Kindergarteners) meet in our Children's wing, located behind the main sanctuary on the west side of the building. They enjoy Sunday School classes during the 9:00 a.m. service, and Children's Church during the 10:45 a.m. service. Both options offer kids an opportunity for interaction with others their age as they learn Bible stories and lessons about faith, joy, hope, and love. Children may stay for one service or both, and we offer fun activities for them in-between services.

  • Our grade school (grades 1 - 5) children's programming is located in the Chapel (on the south side ofthe building). On Sunday morning we offer two different formats. At 9:00 a.m., kids get rockin' withCrosswalk, a large group time of worship, teaching and communion. At 10:45 a.m., kids can learnabout God and His Word in small group format Sunday School classes. Children may stay for oneservice or both. We offer fun activities for them in-between services.

      Students

  • We offer services for both Junior High and High School students. Jr. High students (6th - 8th grade) meet in the Fellowship Hall (across the hall from the Worship Center) at 9:00 a.m. for fellowship and Bible study. High School students meet in the Fellowship Hall at 10:45 a.m. for live worship music, teaching and fellowship. Our adult leaders create a dynamic worship experience for students using video, interactive discussions and teaching that challenges kids to think differently about the influences they encounter.
