Matthew began his ministry at CCCH in 1997. His primary responsibilities include preaching, leadership, and vision casting. He has a passion for teaching about a relationship with Jesus Christ in a way that is understandable and applicable to life in today's world. He fuels his energies into a life mission that will "help lost people get found, help hurting people find grace, and mobilize others to do the same." During Matthew's time at CCCH the church has grown from 250 to over 780 in weekly attendance, and has completed two expansion projects including a new worship center. Prior to serving here he led a thriving youth ministry at Deer Creek Christian Church in south suburban University Park, IL. He currently serves as a board member for CareNet Pregnancy Services of Dupage, and is an active member of the Clarendon Hills Chamber of Commerce. He is an avid Chicago White Sox fan, enjoys classic literature, modern rock music, movies, and any excuse to be outdoors. Matthew holds degrees from Lincoln Christian University and the Graduate School of Wheaton College. He and his wife Kim are the parents of two daughters.
