Matthew Rogers - Senior MinisterMatthew began his ministry at CCCH in 1997. His primary responsibilities include preaching, leadership, and vision casting. He has a passion for teaching about a relationship with Jesus Christ in a way that is understandable and applicable to life in today's world. He fuels his energies into a life mission that will "help lost people get found, help hurting people find grace, and mobilize others to do the same." During Matthew's time at CCCH the church has grown from 250 to over 650 in weekly attendance, and has completed two expansion projects including a new worship center. Prior to serving here he led a thriving youth ministry for nine years at Deer Creek Christian Church in south suburban University Park, IL. He currently serves as a board member for CareNet Pregnancy Services of Dupage, and is an active member of the Clarendon Hills Chamber of Commerce. He is an avid Chicago White Sox fan, enjoys classic literature, modern rock music, movies, and any excuse to be outdoors. Matthew holds degrees from Lincoln Christian University and the Graduate School of Wheaton College. He and his wife Kim are the parents of two daughters. J.K. Stevens - Executive MinisterJ.K. comes to CCCH by way of the Indianapolis, IN area, where he most recently served as Associate Minister of Discipleship and Community with New Hope Christian Church. Before that, he served as Headmaster of Traders Point Christian Academy and was a member of the Traders Point Christian Church staff for 21 years. J.K.'s responsibilities include organizational development and strategic planning, staff leadership, and business management elements that are important to a growing church. His goal at CCCH is to help the "church be the church" through effective service and ministry. J.K. is a graduate of Lincoln Christian University, with a B.A., M.A. and Master of Religious Education. In addition, he is a 2010 graduate of Chuck Colson's Centurions Program and has a passion for worldview education. Robert Locklear - Minister of Worship and MusicRobert holds a B.A. from Great Lakes Christian College, and completed his Masters of Worship and Spirituality at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, IL in 2007. Robert came to serve with CCCH in 2001. In his full-time position he plans our worship services and develops teams of vocalists, instrumentalists, technicians, artists and dramatists. Jim Caler - Minister of Connections and InvolvementJim graduated from Lincoln Christian College in 1995 with a BA in Church Planting and Evangelism. Hired in January 2011, Jim provides oversight to the systems, structures and strategies at CCCH to ensure that no one stands alone. His primary duties are in the areas of Guest Services, guest follow-up, weekly connection vehicles to connect and involve all attendees, as well as periodic connection classes and events. Missy Buche - Children's MinisterMissy oversees all activities for children Kindergarten - grade 5 as well as the nursery. She is a graduate of Lincoln Christian University with a B.A. in Christian Education and Missions. She is also completing graduate level work toward an M.A. in Counseling through Lincoln Christian University. Missy began full-time service at CCCH in 2003. Jason Johnson - Minister of Adult DiscipleshipJason recently moved from Colorado to join the CCCH staff! He is passionate about helping others to grow in their relationship with Jesus. He is a Certified Spiritual Director and has written extensively in the areas of curriculum and training. He will lead regular "Exploration . . . in Discipleship classes" on Sundays. Kyle Alt - Minister of StudentsKyle is a new addition to the CCCH staff, brought on to work with Jr. High and High School students in 2012. He is a graduate of the youth ministry program at Lincoln Christian University and is currently working on a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation from Lincoln. Marilyn Bourn - Family Ministries DirectorMarilyn is a graduate of Illinois State University and has been a part of the church for over 35 years. Her role is to provide help to hurting families and assistance for all families who seek to grow stronger. She also directs our before and after school Christian Children's Center that serves over 80 families in the community. She and her husband, Joe, recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. Dan Eberhard - Student Ministry ResidentDan is the most recent addition to the CCCH Staff. As Student Ministry Resident, he works mainly with 5th and 6th grade students and also partners with Minister to Students Kyle Alt on the Junior High ministry. Dan graduated from Lincoln Christian University with a degree in Youth Ministry. He enjoys playing sports, reading, being outdoors, playing card and board games, and watching a good movie.
