Join CCCH's Reaching Beyond Ourselves (RBO) ministry as they cook at the PADS warming center.
PADS is an acronym for Public Action to Deliver Shelter. The goal of the program is to provide hospitality, food and emergency shelter to homeless people from October 1 through April 30 of each year. The sites are staffed entirely by volunteers, who prepare, supervise, and clean sleeping accomodations.
CCCH actively supports the PADS warming center at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church in Downers Grove by cooking and serving lunch one Saturday a month.
